There was plenty of room, everyone slept comfortably the cabin was beautiful with great views as promised and in the end the whole family had a great trip. Local activities were close with tons of amenities yet very rustic feeling. Cabin was clean and stocked with everything one would need to enjoy it. Host was very friendly and delivered as promised, my family would definitely suggest this booking and look forward to another trip there.

We came here for a reunion of friends. Everyone loved the roomy living room, comfy beds and how quiet the house was. None of us could hear others when we were in bed after they were up. Amazing! The view (other than the green water) is beautiful. We loved our stay and would come back.

The cabin is so great. First of all, it is right on the lake and you can’t beat the view. The lake is beautiful and scenic. Sunrise to sunset you can’t take your eyes off of it. The cabin itself was wonderful. The setup is one of my favorites. There are 4 private rooms with one giant common area. Each room is spacious with a king sized bed, bunk beds and plenty of storage space to stay organized and comfortable. Each room also has it’s own private full bath making it the PERFECT setup for large groups to hang out and enjoy each other while also being able to retreat to your own area when you need to. Chris and family does a wonderful job of thoughtfully stocking and arranging amenities throughout the whole house. They thought of everything to make your stay comfortable, enjoyable, and memorable and were available and responsive whenever we had a need or question. This place was absolutely ideal for our big group. We were all coming from different locations for a family reunion. Everyone found it with the great directions Chris provided. Things that made this place so great included separate bathrooms for each family, awesome; lots of blankets for watching tv, or just hanging out inside; hot tub outside was wonderful for the adults; kayaks were very popular with our group too. We cooked dinners as a group, had a huge kitchen everyone could be in, lots of big cookie sheets, big pots and big bowls. Had everything you could possible need or want for cooking. Chris welcomed our dog, and even though neither are kenneled, it was nice to have the large kennel when it got a little hectic and everyone was eating. So nice to provide the kennel, dog bowls, blanket for the couch etc. Such a great touch! Once you arrive, there is literally no reason to leave, unless you need groceries (5 minutes away) or restaurants, also really close by.

We had 8 adults, 3 kids, and a dog. Plenty of room for everybody. Chris is a great host. He attended to all of our needs.

We had a wonderful time at Dogwood. Great location, great accommodations and a great host. Each room had its own bathroom and the place was very clean. It was also very private and peaceful. We had a wonderful time. Thanks Chris!

We are so glad our first place fell through and we found Dogwood Lodge instead! It was the perfect setup for our 3 family get together. Dogwood is very comfortable and well equipped with plenty of towels, kitchen amenities, yard games, and relaxation for a week’s stay. We loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom. It’s about a 30 min drive to different activities around Branson, but we loved coming back to the lake where things were quiet and peaceful. Chris’ crew was easy to communicate with. Highly recommend staying here.

Dogwood cabin is wonderful and Chris was a great host! We loved that it is right on the lake with the fire pit and the opportunity to kayak, however our weather did not cooperate to be able to. Use the kayaks. The hot tub was relaxing in the evening after a day of activities in Branson and the beds were very comfortable but what was a game changer was each bedroom having their own private bathroom!! We would love to return to this beautiful cabin, maybe in the summer so we can enjoy the lake and outdoor activities more.

Fantastic place to reconnect with family and friends. The large great room and the 4 bedrooms, each with private ensuite, gave everyone in our group plenty of space. The property accommodated the older members of our group very well, it was easy to get into and to move around the house. The spacious back deck provides a beautiful view of Lake Taneycomo. The surroundings are calm and peaceful. We saw so many turtles and ducks out on the lake. Kayaks are provided and allowed for exploring the lake. A beautiful park with excellent fishing docks is three minutes away from this property. Overall, this was a perfect family vacation spot.
