Branson Lake Cabin

Dogwood Lodge sits on the shore of Lake Taneycomo in the Ozark Mountains just outside of Branson MO.

Take in the views while soaking in the private hot tub on the deck or roasting s'mores around the fire. Enjoy our kayaks, community pool, outdoor games, indoor fireplace, boat slips (for rent), and more.

Our serene cabin sits on the quiet end of Lake Taneycomo surrounded by nature. Families of all sizes enjoy watching ducks, cranes, eagles, fish, turtles, and so much more from the private deck with hot tub or while playing games in the yard.

The Space

Dogwood has a large, open-concept living room, kitchen, and dining area with a vaulted ceiling and wall of windows that overlook Lake Taneycomo.

Step out of the living room onto the deck to take in the amazing 180 degree views. Enjoy your morning coffee watching the fog lift off the lake. Soak in the hot tub on the private deck while listening to the fish jump.

Walk down the steps off the deck to enjoy a round of corn hole or make s'mores on the private lakeside fire pit. Grab a couple of the kayaks and take the kids out to explore the lake!

Our family cabin includes room for up to 16 guests. Each of the 4 bedrooms includes a King bed and a private bathroom. 3 bedrooms also include twin bunks. There is also a queen size sleeper sofa in the livingroom.

Our kitchen is fully loaded, and the dining room includes 2 tables with enough seating for all 16 guests.

"Our little weekend trip/getaway was great! The house was pretty private with amazing view of lake! Quiet and peaceful location, and easy to find! The inside of the home was decorated beautifully and had plenty of space for everyone!

Loved the fact that each room had their own bathroom and shower! The kitchen came equipped with everything you would need! Had enough seating for dining (two tables- we used one for adults and one for the kiddos!!)

Plenty of yard space as well for throwing a ball around! We give the host and the house 5 stars!! You wont go wrong staying at this place!!."

Well-Appointed Family Cabin

This spacious home is perfect for large families or even multiple families looking for a safe and relaxing place where everyone can spread out and enjoy themselves.

Each of the 4 bedrooms includes a King bed, a private bathroom, and a smart TV. Three of the bedrooms also have twin bunks. The fully loaded kitchen will have everything you need to prepare a family meal. Our two dining tables seat 8 each. The local grocery stores and restaurants are just 3 miles away if you want to stay close.

With so much to do right at our cabin, you never need to leave. We provide a private hot tub over looking the lake, kayaks, firewood, outdoor and indoor games, smart TV's and more. Disc golf, playgrounds, and walking paths to the dam are all located in the park next door. Dock slips and the community pool are in the resort, a short 3 minute walk from the cabin.

Branson entertainment is only a scenic 20-25 minute drive. There you will find family-friendly shows, award-winning golf courses, Silver Dollar City, amazing restaurants, water parks, and entertainment of all kinds. Our guests love coming back to a senic cabin to relax after a day in Branson.

Lake Taneycomo Info

Lake Taneycomo is the coldest lake in MO and is famous for fishing trout, bass, bluegill, and more. It is not an ideal swimming lake, but the cold waters can be enjoyed in the hottest months of the year. In the warmer months, a micro plant called Water Meal floats on the surface of the lake and gathers along the shore. Lake weeds do grow up in the shallow waters in front of the cabin for about 6 months of the year, so if you want to get into the water, plan to paddle the kayaks out to one of the coves across the lake.

You are welcome to fish on the shore of the resort and off the dock. The best fishing tends to be out in the deeper waters of the lake, easily accessed by our kayaks. Our guests enjoy the connection with nature that our cabin offers. You will regularly see ducks, geese, cranes, turtles, fish jumping, and occasionally eagles swooping while relaxing on our deck in this natural area.

We would like to personally welcome you to our family’s lake home! We hope that you and your family have a wonderful vacation here and enjoy it as much as our family does. Our 4 kids are the 4th generation to come to this spot!

My wife Jessi and I will be your hosts and are available to answer questions you have prior to or during your stay at Dogwood, but we will leave you alone to relax once you have checked in and are all settled so you can enjoy your vacation.
