Wild Goose Lodge sits on the shore of Lake Taneycomo in the Ozark Mountains just outside of Branson MO.

Take in the views while roasting s'mores around the fire or relaxing in the private hot tub on the deck. Enjoy our kayaks, community pool, outdoor games, indoor fireplace, boat slips (for rent), and more.

Our serene cabin sits on the quiet end of Lake Taneycomo, just outside of Branson MO. It has become a favorite for family trips, holidays, and groups of all ages.

The Space

Wild Goose Lodge has a large, open-concept living room, kitchen, and dining area with a wall of windows that overlook Lake Taneycomo.

Step out of the living room onto the deck to take in the amazing views. Enjoy your morning coffee watching the fog lift off the lake. Soak in the hot tub on the private deck. And relax around the fire table during happy hour.

Step off the deck to enjoy a round of corn hole in the large yard area between the deck and the water. Grab a couple of the kayaks and take the kids out to explore the lake right off the front yard!

Our family cabin includes room for up to 12 guests. 2 Bedrooms have a king bed. 2 Bedrooms have a queen bed and twin bunks. There is also a queen size sleeper sofa in the livingroom for extra space.

Our kitchen is fully loaded with a large island that has room for 6. There is more than enough dining space between the dining table, island, and multiple outdoor tables.

ABSOLUTELY beautiful place to stay! The road there is a little windy but definitely worth it! The lake is gorgeous and peaceful. There is nothing better than enjoying a cup of coffee first thing in the morning with that view! Would definitely recommend!

"There's nothing better than soaking in a hot tub overlooking a beautiful lake while it's freezing outside. Just steps from the back door, the hot tub definitely made this stay extra memorable.

We came to the Branson area to take our kids to Silver Dollar City for the Christmas festival. Chris' place added to our festivities by having a lighted Christmas tree up and ready for us. We enjoyed sitting around the cozy fire place with the tree on. Silver Dollar City is located just 30 minutes away and it's a scenic drive to get there.

The house was roomy and offered lots of seating options. Wonderful kitchen island to gather around and store our things. Our kids have already claimed we're coming back and bringing family/friends with us. We loved our stay and highly recommend to others!"

Well-Appointed Family Cabin

This spacious cabin sleeps up to 12. It is perfect for large families or even multiple families looking for a safe and relaxing place where everyone can spread out and enjoy themselves.

The fully loaded kitchen will have everything you need to prepare a family meal. The large kitchen island, and mixture of outdoor and indoor dining offers more than enough space for your entire group. There are 2 bedrooms with a King bed and 2 bedrooms each with a Queen bed and Twin bunks. The local grocery stores and restaurants are just 3 miles away.

With so much to do right at our cabin, you never need to leave. We provide kayaks, outdoor and indoor games, smart TV's and more. Disc golf, playgrounds, and walking paths to the dam are all located in the park next door. Dock slips and the community pool are a short 2 minute walk from the cabin door.

Branson entertainment is only a scenic 20-25 minute drive. There you will find family-friendly shows, award-winning golf courses, Silver Dollar City, amazing restaurants, and entertainment of all kinds. Our guests love coming back to a beautiful place to relax after a day in Branson.

"The home was perfect for our kids back to school bash! Perfect location. The pools fit the needs of all parties, 3-10 years old and was just a short walk from the house. Plenty of space for our group of 14. The massive back yard was perfect for our field games and entertaining. The back porch was very well thought out with the additional ceiling/porch fans that were perfect for the adults that didn't want to be super hot outside in 90 degree weather. Plenty of seating for meals. Plenty of sleeping space. The kitchen was well equipped. Quiet area. This home was probably the best property out of all of the homes/cabins in the area. Lake Taneycomo Info

Lake Taneycomo is the coldest lake in MO and is famous for fishing trout, bass, bluegill, and more. It is not an ideal swimming lake, but the cold waters can be enjoyed in the hottest months of the year. In the warmer months, a micro plant called Water Meal floats on the surface of the lake and gathers along the shore. Lake weeds do grow up in the shallow waters in front of the cabin for about 6 months of the year, so if you want to get into the water, plan to paddle the kayaks out to one of the coves across the lake.

You are welcome to fish on the shore of the resort and off the dock. The best fishing tends to be out in the deeper waters of the lake, easily accessed by our kayaks. Our guests enjoy the connection with nature that our cabin offers. You will regularly see ducks, geese, cranes, turtles, fish jumping, and occasionally eagles swooping while relaxing on our deck in this natural area.

My wife Jessi and I will be your hosts and are available to answer questions you have prior to or during your stay at Wild Goose, but we will leave you alone to relax once you have checked in and are all settled so you can enjoy your vacation.
