Lake Taneycomo is the coldest lake in Missouri, famous for trout, bass, and bluegill fishing. Not an ideal swimming lake, but the cold water can be enjoyed during the hottest months.

• Lake weeds grow in the shallow water near the cabin ~6 months/year – paddle the kayaks across to coves for easier water access
• In warmer months, a harmless micro plant called Water Meal may float on the surface (does not affect fishing)
• Fishing welcome from resort shore and dock; best fishing in deeper waters

• Absolutely NO GLASS or food near the hot tub
• NO BUBBLES, NO SALTS, OR OILS may be added
• Shower first and wear a swimsuit (not clothes) in the hot tub
• Professionally serviced after each guest – let us know if it needs attention during your stay

We welcome up to two well‑trained dogs under 75 lbs each. $150 fee per dog added at booking.

• Number of dogs must be selected upon booking
• Pets must be kenneled when left alone inside
• Must be on a leash at all times outside the cabin
• Owners must clean up waste and ensure barking does not disturb neighbors
• Never leave pets alone outside – use provided dog blankets on furniture
• Basic kennel, dog bed, waste bags, and lint roller provided
• Excessive hair, damage, or odors may incur extra fees

• All guests must be 24+ (except children with parents)
• Maximum occupancy: 12 persons
• If you bring more than accounted for, you will be asked to leave without a refund

For your protection, a security camera is located on the front porch.

• Do not touch or tamper with the camera
• Tampering will result in immediate eviction without refund

We are in a beautiful lake area – some insects and wildlife are unavoidable despite regular pest control.

• You may occasionally see bugs, ants, spiders, bats, etc.
• If this is a concern, a place further from water may suit you better
• Please help by sweeping floors, keeping sweets in the fridge, and taking out trash
